Stakeholders Synergy
"Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much."
The responsibility for children’s educational development is a collaborative enterprise and dedication of all the 3 stakeholders i.e children, teachers and parents. In fact, the community as a whole is the biggest stakeholder in its education system. This is because schools educate future employees, business owners and community leaders. A solid education program builds a stronger community by preparing students to be successful community members.
An actively involved parent helps make the child’s education truly wholesome and worthwhile. This kind of nurturing support from a parent not only positively influences the child’s academic achievements, but also enhances his overall growth and well-being. As educators, our primary goal for our students is to promote learning, inspire them to bring out their best and help them become productive members of the community. And a healthy relationship between stakeholders will enable everybody to harmoniously work together, which will have a positive impact on the students where they will thrive as they enhance their learning capabilities.
The year 2019-20 laid another layer of strong bond between the stakeholders. Enthusiastic Mothers of K1 took this partnership ahead by organising numerous activities / sessions like games, art, baking, community helpers role play, storytelling, etc. for children. This helped young kids learn and further enhance their knowledge, socio-emotional skills, basic math concepts, pre-cooking skills, etc. It was a classic example of beautiful camaraderie that took place between the educators and the mothers where their willingness to learn inspired our educators to share the nuances of storytelling with them and together they enacted few stories. Most importantly this gave an important message to our students that the teachers and mothers are a team. This positive bond between all the 3 stakeholders brought a magnificent change in our children’s learning process.
