Professional development has been an integral part of our routine at Joeys Ambli campus. It comprises of reading relevant articles, viewing inspiring videos, demo sessions, workshops by experts and online courses. We believe that academic managers are expected to have the know - how of becoming expert practitioners, with best teaching methods and the knowledge to support the professional development of other educators. They are responsible for nurturing better teaching and educating skills in fellow teachers.

Recently, we had a privilege to meet Ms. Urvi Shah, with a vast teaching experience in India & USA. Currently, working as a Teacher trainer, she shared her deep insights on how to develop reading skills at a very early age. She demonstrated a variety of techniques like read aloud, guided reading, shared reading and independent reading along with the reading comprehension strategies which enhances language development. In fact she strengthened our understanding and the ability to address the needs of individual readers. All in all it was an enriching experience and incredibly useful.
