Grandparents Day @ AN Joeys
Grandparents are the precious stalwarts of a family, who epitomize traditional values and culture. They are instrumental in haping the very fabric of our lives. They lead us to the right path, holding our hands at every step, encouraging us in our tough times and inspiring us. In our humble pursuit to validate their role and endorse the beautiful bond between a grandchild and grandparent we celebrated Grandparents Day from 28th March'17 for three consecutive days at Joeys Ambli campus.
The traditional welcome - clicking the photograph with their grandchildren left many dada-dadis and nana-nanis emotionally awestruck. The celebration started with the heartfelt prayers, short skit which greatly entertained the grandparents. Well coordinated dances on their all timefavourite songs were exhilarating. The audience was overwhelmed when they had a ride on time machine which took them in their era. Our bachhas' enthusiasm level was soaring high as the spectators were their very special people.
The graceful audience mingled and jingled in the revelry of the day through the entertaining and innovative games. Few grandparents shared their thoughts and expressed their gratitude towards the school. The occasion ended with refreshments and gifting photograph captured with their grandchild as a token of love and appreciation. The staff and children were delighted to see few grandparents who had travelled specially to be a part of this day. All in all it created a win-win situation as our campus turned into a pious space filled with reverence, gratitude & blessings. Most importantly all the grandparents felt special & honoured as their very existence and contribution was highlighted.
